(English Abstract)
In this paper, as a prior study on non-contact continuous monitoring of breathing and heart beat using UWB radar technology, it was researched that breathing and heart rate of living body can be measured non-contactly by utilizing XeThru X4, the optimal UWB radar sensor chip. In particular, the respiratory vivo signal and cardiac signal processing algorithms converted the time domain data of the respiratory signal across the Band-Pass filter and Hamming Window into frequency domain data to estimate the respiration rate and heart rate. Performance evaluation results showed 91.78%, 83.52%, 77.40% performance compared to current contact-type equipment.
